Alice Banks is a literary translator from the French based in Norwich. After graduating with a French degree from Bangor University, Alice is now studying on the MA in Literary Translation at the University of East Anglia.


About Me

My name is Alice and I am a literary translator from French to English with a particular interest in contemporary and feminist literature.

In 2019 I graduated from Bangor University with a First Class BA Hons in French where I also received the Barbara Saunderson Prize for best in year.

At present, I am studying the MA in Literary Translation at the University of East Anglia where throughout a variety of classes I am able to practise my translation and build on my experience.
