About Me

My name is Alice and I am a literary translator from French and Spanish into English with a particular interest in contemporary and feminist literature.

In 2019 I graduated from Bangor University with a First Class BA Hons in French where I also received the Barbara Saunderson Prize for best in year. In September 2020 I completed the MA in Literary Translation at the University of East Anglia where throughout a variety of classes and workshops, I was able to practise my translation and build a varied portfolio.

I am currently working as a freelance translator and copy editor, whilst also volunteering for the esteemed literary translation journal, Asymptote. I am open to creative translation work from both French and Spanish, and copy editing work. If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me via the ‘Contact’ page.
